Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was the only son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens and a leading role in several dramas on television. Her critically acclaimed performance in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including the role of Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated features featuring models. Alexandra is well-known for her work in numerous noteworthy projects both domestically and internationally. The projects comprise British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historic miniseries Napoleon. She also served in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
